Hopefully everyone is enjoying the spring-like weather! As spring approaches we want to continue to find ways to help you be more profitable in 2021 and take advantage of some of the best crop prices we have seen in quite a while. One of those ways is applying fungicide to your soybean crop.
Learn how applying fungicides on your soybeans can increase your ROI, by clicking on the video below. Justin Travis, Kings Valley Agronomist, and Tryston Beyrer, Wisconsin Agronomist for Winfield United explain.
Through various on farm trials and applications, we have been seeing a 3 to 7 bushel average response when applying fungicide on soybeans in our territory, with a 10 to 12 bushel response not being uncommon. Using a fall delivery price of $11.50 per bushel, this would equate to an extra $34.50 to $80.50 gross revenue per acre on average. Who doesn’t want to make more money?
Many of you have had conversations around fungicide with your agronomist already, so keep working to implement a fungicide program into your soybean management program. Also, consider adding a fungicide to your corn, small grains, and alfalfa programs as well.
Call your agronomist today for more information.
