Countryside Continues Our Covid-19 Prevention Efforts

Jul 23, 2020

The past few months have taught us many things. How to be creative to ensure we deliver essential services to our members and customers, and how to do that in a safe manner.

By using strategies to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 at our facilities, we strive to protect all employees and customers.

These strategies include:

  • Implementing telework and other social distancing practices.
  • Utilizing plexiglass barriers at our retail sites.
  • Encourage the use of masks while shopping at one of locations or conducting business at one of our locations.
  • Requiring employees to stay home when sick.
  • Promote handwashing.
  • Provide appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and supplies for cleaning and disinfecting workspaces.

We also consider options to increase physical space between employees and customers, such as curbside pick-up, erecting partitions and marking floors to guide spacing at least six feet apart. We have implemented touchless payment options to minimize the handling of cash and interaction with customers.

We will continue to post signage at our facilities letting customers know about changes to our policies and instruct them to stay away if they are experiencing COVID-19-like symptoms. We continue to provide updates to let employees know what they can expect as we continue to move forward during this pandemic.
