Our Mission To deliver positive customer service and exceptional value in a financially responsible manner. Our Vision To be the leader in providing value to our communities through growth and success. Our Values Customer Driven Community Engaged Change Adaptable Future Focused People Inspired Performance Passionate Integrity Governed
The people who use Countryside products, supplies and services are the same people who own the cooperative. While cooperatives vary in type and membership size, all meet specific objectives set forth by their members and adapt to members’ changing needs. Our communal function is to see that farmers, producers, workers and consumers accomplish more collectively than they can individually.
Countryside Cooperative formed on September 1, 1998, when Durand Cooperative and Mondovi Co-op Equity Association consolidated. Countryside is west-central Wisconsin’s premier member-owned cooperative. We are dedicated to service and committed to success, governed by integrity, and driven by a passion of excellence toward a future without boundaries. As an agricultural cooperative, we are owned and controlled by our members-patrons-owners who work together for the common good of the community. Profits are returned to Countryside Cooperative member-patrons-owners in proportion to the amount of their patronage. Countryside Cooperative now serves the communities of Alma, Amery, Baldwin, Blair, Burkhardt (Hudson), Cochrane, Durand, Elmwood, Ellsworth, Fall Creek, Foster, Glenwood City, Gilmanton, Luck, Milltown, Mondovi, Menomonie, King’s Valley (Osseo), New Richmond, Pepin, Pigeon Falls, Rock Falls, Strum, Spring Valley, Waumandee, and Whitehall.
Countryside Cooperative is member owned. Members are not just those whose principle occupation is production agriculture; in fact, anyone can become a member. By patronizing Countryside Cooperative, you have the opportunity to become a member and share in the pride and benefits of cooperative membership.
